Large nearly glabrous dioecious simple-tendril perennial monoecious or dioecious climber to 10m, denticulate mucronate leaves sometimes 3-lobed to 100mmx 75mm, male & female fascicles, yellow petals, male flowers to 3mm x 3.5mm wide with densely hairy throat, sepals 1mm x 0.6mm, petals to 2.5mm x 2mm, female flower to 15mm x 4mm, glabrous fruit 5-10 in a cluster ripening red to 20mm x 10mm
