Sometimes climbing spiny shrub, glabrous or sparsely pubescent. Bi-pinnate leaves with 3-6 pairs of pinnae with 10-25 pairs of leaflets, leaflets to 6mm x 1mm. Deeply divided calyx to 2mm long, blue-violet corolla to 3mm long with roseate stamens more than 3 times longer. Pods to 75mm x 8mm.
