Scandent shrub or liana with glabrescent stems, glabrous leaves to 9 foliolate. Densely villous terminal panicles to 300mm x 200mm, of 15mm long, red to purple flowers with yellow-green spots in centres, villous calyx 4mm x 5mm. Red fruit pods to 110mm long x 30mm
