Liana to 30m, with black stems, green fruit becoming orange 50mm across, axillary cymes to 25mm long of yellowish-white flowers 6mm long, flower bracts small, corolla tube to 3mm long with 5 pale yellow lobes, chartaceous coriaceous leaves with 16-20 pairs to 110mm x 55mm
