Large stout glabrous liana to 30m, stems with small lenticels, hooked branches, coriaceous leaves to 175mm x 60mm, glabrous axillary & terminal cymes with bracts to 1mm long, of scented pale pink or yellow flowers to 10mm long, 5 sepals 1mm long, calyx tube 1mm long, 5 petals 3mm long, corolla tube 5mm long with lobes 9mm long, glabrous globose yellow or apricot berry 75mm x 30mm, hooked tendrils
