Liana to 10m or shrub with lenticellate branches. Leaves to 60mm x 34mm sparsely pubescent above & tomentose beneath. Axillary & terminal cymes with bractlets to 1mm long, fragrant flowers, 5-lobed calyx, white or pinkish corolla to 25mm long with 5 lobes. Fleshy drupe.
