Fruiting Times
Evergreen erect or scandent shrub scrambling by thorns to 10m with tetragonal lenticellate spinose branchlets becoming glabrate. Thorns to 8mm long. Glabrous or puberulent ternate leaves, leaflets to 90mm x 40mm. White slightly sweet-scented trumpet flowers sometimes tinged purple with purple stamens in axillary & terminal few-flowered cymes to 25mm long with bracts 8mm long & bractlets to 2mm long, puberulent 5-lobed calyx to 8mm long with lobes to 3mm long, corolla tube to 22mm long & 5 lobes to 8mm long, limb to 10mm diameter. Fruits to 10mm long & slightly broader, a drupe, fleshy & juicy when young, aging brown.
