Woody deciduous tendril vine with 3-5 lobed leaves mucronate teeth, reddish-brown lanate beneath, turning bright red in Autumn to 300mm x 300mm. Inflorescence to 200mm x 80mm with tendrils, 12mm diameter blackish fruits
