Tree, treelet, shrub or climber with glabrous lenticellate branches. Ternate coriaceous glabrous leaves with leaflets to 90mm x 35mm. Many-flowered panicles to 200mm long, 5-toothed calyx, green sepals, blue to lilac corolla. Drupe 3.5mm wide.
