Scandent shrub, tree or erect shrub to 8m with pubescent branchlets. Leaves to 100mm x 50mm, pubescent on veins. Few-flowered cymes to 20mm long with bracts to 1mm long, yellow flowers, 2-lipped calyx to 30mm long, lip to 1mm x 1.5mm, corolla tube 9mm long with 4-5 lobes 2mm long. Purplish-green or reddish-black glabrous fruit 2mm diameter.
