Slender nearly glabrous rhizomatous scandent perennial herb or liana with nearly glabrous or puberulent, slender stems, leaves to 70mm x 30mm, glabrate or puberulent. Nearly glabrous inflorescences to 110mm of 2mm diameter purple flowers, corolla to 5mm across with glabrous lobes. Horizontally spreading glabrous follicles to 60mm long x 5mm
