Slender herbaceous glabrous or with pubescent young foliage, perennial, decumbent or climbing, more or less strigillose tendril vine with angled stems, trifid tendrils. Leaves to 100mm long ending in a forked tendril, with 6-12 sometimes mucronulate serrate leaflets to 24mm long. 2-6 flowered inflorescence, blue flowers, pubescent calyx with tube to 1mm long, corolla 8mm long bluish or yellowish-white tipped & tinged pink, keel petals to 6mm long. Glabrous pods to 30mm long.
