Herbaceous pubescent annual or perennial bifid tendril vine with with striate angled stems. 7-12 mucronate leaflets to 18mm x 6mm. 2-6 flowered inflorescence of blue or purple & white flowers to 15mm long, pilose calyx. Glabrous legume to 40mm x 8mm.
