Annual or perennial glabrous to puberulent herbaceous tendril climber or trailer with glabrescent furrowed stems to 1m. Pinnate leaves, 6-14 glabrous pubescent or nearly glabrous mucronate leaflets somewhat toothed at apex to 50mm x 5mm. 2-9 flowered racemes of bluish-purplish flowers, pubescent calyx, pink-purple or blue-purple corolla to 22mm long. Glabrous pod to 30mm x 7mm
