Hemi-epiphytic semi-scandent shrub to 3m glabrescent branchlets, coriaceous leaves glabrous apart from few hairs on midrib beneath to 23mm x 11mm. Solitary axillary flowers with minute glabrous bracts, hairy 1.5mm calyx 5-lobed, hairy fleshy brownish-red corolla3.5mm x 3mm with 1mm recurved lobes, purple-black pubescent fruit to 7mm dia.
