Woody liana or shrub to 6m with ferrugineous-pubescent branchlets. Leaves 124mm x 66mm, glabrous above & hairy beneath. 1-2 flowered axillary inflorescence to 5mm long covered in yellowish-rusty pubescence with 2 clasping bracts 2mm long, scented greyish-yellow flowers, coriaceous calyx to 4mm x 5mm, yellow-green to orange-yellow petals slightly fleshy to 6mm x 4mm. Yellowish pubescent fruit to 17mm x 8mm with persistent bracts 3mm diameter,
