Fruiting Times
Large woody climber, red-tomentose stems, glabrescent striate young branches with lenticels. Coriaceous glabrous leaves to 140mm x 45mm or nearly glabrous above & sparsely pubescent beneath. Leaf-opposed or terminal cymes with bracts, purple-brown flowers, sepals to 2.5mm long pubescent outside glabrous within, brownish-olive calyx, brown corolla, greenish-yellow tomentose petals 5mm x 3mm. Glabrous orange fruits to 20mm x 10mm
