Fruiting Times
Scandent pubescent shrub or large woody climber with glabrescent twigs. Coriaceous leaves glabrous above, pubescent on nerves beneath to 310mm x 130mm, hairy petioles. Leaf-opposed, terminal or extra-axillary cymes 40mm diameter with tomentose bract to 3mm x 5mm, dark red to purple-brown flowers, sepals & petals rusty-tomentose, sepals to 7mm x 10mm, dark red coriaceous petals to 12mm x 7mm, flower to 40mm across. Glabrous orange fruit to 30mm x 15mm
