Tall climber to 12m or small tree with lenticellate stems. Leaves 150mm x 60mm glabrate above & minutely pubescent beneath, terminal or lateral inflorescence, yellow or cream flowers with calyx 10mm across, petals nearly as wide, flower with more or less alcoholic smell. Rusty tomentose yellow-orange fruit to 40mm x 20mm
