Scrambling shrub or small tree to 5m. Leaves rusty-tomentose beneath to 140mm x 70mm. Purplish-green velvety flowers to 50mm across, velvety sepals to 15mm x 11mm, petals to 18mm x 10mm, white-hairy inside. Tomentose bilobed densely white-velvety fruit to 20mm x 15mm.
