Somewhat climbing shrub or tree, 4-angled or tetragonal pubescent stems, slightly coriaceous leaves to 175mm x 60mm glabrous above strigose beneath , axillary umbels or cymes, 5mm long flowers with 5 sepals occasionally 6, 5 petals villous inside, glabrous berry 4mm x 3.5mm
