Climbing or creeping glabrous liana with stems with small lenticels, leaves 100mm x 50mm, reddish or cream flowers in spikes or terminal cymes with bracts to 5mm long, inflorescence axillary to 130mm long, scented flower 15mm long, red & yellow or pink & white, 5 sepals 5mm long, 5 petals 4.5mm x 4.5mm, tube 6mm long, fruit paired lenticellate follicles to 160mm long x 8mm
