Slender liana or scrambling shrub with 4-angled branches, puberulent stems, glabrous thin coriaceous leaves to 125mm x 60mm, climbing by twining hooks, solitary greenish-white flowers, pubescent calyx to 5mm long, corolla 12mm long silky outside, 5 sepals 1mm long, tube to 3mm long, 5 petals to 1.5mm long villous outside, corolla tube 9mm long villous outside, capsule 12mm long with persistent sepals
