Fruiting Times
Scandent glabrous or sparingly pubescent shrub, tree or liana climbing with recurved hooks from old peduncles. Leaves 150mm x 100mm. Terminal heads 50mm diameter of creamy yellow aromatic flowers, silky outside, red at base of tube fading reddish, calyx pilose-tomentose, greenish-yellow corolla 12mm long villous outside. Spindle-shaped capsules, fruiting heads to 85mm diameter, green fruit tipped dark red.
