Slender woody evergreen twining liana or creeper to 10m with a warty glabrous purple stem, glabrous leaves to 120mm x 70mm. Terminal or axillary 300mm racemes of 30mm diameter with bracts to 2mm and minute bracteoles, yellow 5-petalled, clawed flowers with dark red glands in racemes, petals to 15mm long, sepals 2mm x 1mm, 3 part samara to 20mm diameter
