Pubescent liana, shrub or tree with leaves downy beneath to 150mm x 100mm, glabrous above. Panicles of up to 7 flowers to 200mm long with bracts, whitish flowers with yellow & purple markings, 5 glabrous petals to 4mm long. Yellow to brown fruit to 120mm x 25mm, trigonal capsule.
