Large woody fulvous-tomentose twining liana or creeper with lenticellate stems. Leaves 100mm x 50mm hairy on both surfaces becoming glabrescent. Lateral or terminal tomentose panicles with tomentose bracts to 2mm long, of 30mm x 40mm white flowers, exterior sepals 5mm long, interior sepals 3mm long all white-tomentose, corolla 30mm x 40mm villous outside. Fruit a capsule 35mm long with persistent sepals to 40mm long.
