Herbaceous annual brownish-hairy tendril vine with pubescent stems, leaves 140mm x 70mm hairy above & on nerves beneath, 18mm flowers, 2-7 branched tendrils, male racemes to 200mm long with coaxillary tail-like appendage, male petals to 25mm long, sepals to 18mm long, white petals 15mm x 15mm pubescent both surfaces, female flowers solitary, female sepals to 15mm long, orange fruit longitudinally striped to 100mm long x 70mm
