Slender puberulent liana with coriaceous leaves glabrous above sometimes villous beneath 60mm x 28mm. Axillary cymes with red hairs & small bracts, of 16mm yellowish-orange flowers, tube to 3mm, lobes to 8mm, calyx sepals have red hairs, corolla tube & lobes glabrous, red-hairy follicles to 90mm x 10mm, young branches tawny-brown pubescent, inflorescence an umbel-like cyme to 10 flowers.
