Scandent or prostrate shrub, tree or slender twining vine with with hoary tomentum all over, rust-coloured hairs when young. Rusty-pubescent leaves to 60mm long. Terminal & lateral panicles or cymes divided into about 10 spikes to 100mm long, flowers pale yellow or white to pale green or orange to 4mm long, 1.5mm lobes, peduncles & calyx villous, calyx 3mm long with lobes 1mm long, white strigose corolla to 2.3mm long with lobes to 2mm long, tube pubescent outside. 4mm diameter glabrous or hispid 4-lobed white fruit with 2-4 black spots & 2-3 nutlets
