Glabrous woody climber with young stems striate becoming lenticellate, leaves to 150mm x 130mm. Axillary or cauliflorous pseudo-racemes, male to 200mm, Male flowers with yellow, greenish or white sepals, 3 outer sepals 1mm long, 3 inner sepals to 5mm long, 6 greenish or white petals to 2mm long, female inflorescence to 350mm long, inners epals 3mm long otherwise as in male flowers, irregularly tuberculate red drupe 8mm x 5mm.
