Vine or shrub with strigose stems. Strigose leaves to 160mm x 85mm. Pinkish-red to orange-red flowers in flower heads to 18mm high with 11 radial flowers, reddish corolla with tubes 1.5mm long & limbs 15mm x 5mm, 60 disc flowers per head, orange corolla 8mm long with tube 1mm long & lobes 1mm x 0.7mm. Achenes to 6mm x 3mm with no pappus.
