Slender twining shrub or glabrous to puberulent liana to 5m. Extremely variable leaves downy beneath to 125mm x 75mm. Axillary & terminal panicles, thyrses, fasciculate corymbs or racemes of 10mm greenish-yellow flowers striped orange-red, calyx lobes to 35mm long, corolla tube 6.5mm x 1mm diameter with lobes to 4mm long, glabrous follicles to 230mm long
