Robust woody dioecious tendril liana with simple tendrils, glabrous stems to 18mm diameter with shredding bark. Coriaceous glabrous crenate divided 5-7 foliolate leaves, terminal leaflets to 81mm x 48mm, lateral leaflets to 79mm x 45mm, coriaceus leaflets serrated at apex. Axillary cymes or umbels to 100mm, pistillate flowers to 4mm long. Infructescence to 30mm long, fruit a berry to 15mm long x 11mm.
