Tall woody tendril liana with simple tendrils, ridged glabrous quadrangular or flattened stems, branchlets with occasional lenticels. 5 foliolate palmate glabrous mucronulate leaves. Axillary umbel to 170mm, corolla 3mm long 4 petals to 2.5mm. Glabrous infructescence to 200mm across, fruit a red berry to 30mm diameter.
