Dioecious liana with corky stems to 18mm diameter, coriaceus glabrous crenate 3-foliolate leaves, terinal leaflet to 97mm x 48mm, lateral leaflets to 89mm x 36mm, green fruit turning red to purple-black to 6mm x 7mm diameter, axillary umbels or corymbose cymes of pale greenish fragrant yellow-grey pubescent flowers to 2mm long, pistillate flowers to 2mm long
