Woody climbing tendril vine with flattened stems, stems with lenticels. 3-5 foliolate mucronate leaves, glabrous leaflets. Greenish-white slightly fragrant flowers in axillary pubescent corymbs or cymes to 40mm x 40mm, puberulent calyx, petals tp 3mm long. Purple fruits 12mm long.
