Large perennial evergreen dioecious woody tendril liana with flattened stem, simple tendrils, hemiepiphytic. Glabrous simple or trifoliolate toothed leaves, simple leaves to 112mm x 52mm, compound leaves with mid leaflet to 130mm long, lateral leaflest to 89mm x 43mm. Tomentose axillary umbels to 15mm, pubescent pistillate flowers to 5mm long, 4 glabrous petals, Fruit an edible yellow berry to 20mm diameter.
