Fruiting Times
Twining high-climbing woody liana, prostrate or scandent shrub with scabrous exfoliating branches. Dentate scabrous leaves to 170mm x 60mm, rough leaves toothed at end. Axillary or terminal many-flowered stellate scabrous pubescent racemes or panicles to 300mm long, with bracts 2mm long, fragrant white or yellow flowers to 8mm x 10mm, 5 sepals 5mm long, 5 dark red petals 6mm long. Hairy leathery 3-angled purplish-brown follicle to 17mm x 8mm x 6mm with persistent sepals.
