Liana or twining hairy slightly woody vine, branches & underside of leaves clothed with silky down, angular stem. Trifoliolate leaves strigulose above, sericeous pubescent beneath, leaflets to 90mm long. Axillary pseudo-racemes to 150mm long or solitary white, blue, pink or purple flowers in axillary inflorescences, flowers 7mm long, standard 4mm long, wings longer than keel, keel whitish. Ferrugineous-tomentose fruit to 70mm long x 4mm.
