Sometimes twining or decumbent woody perennial herb or shrub clothed with grey silky down. Leaves 100mm long, 9-17 leaflets, mucronate pubescent strigose leaflets 50mm x 8mm. Leaf-opposed or terminal racemes or fascicles with bractlets, of red or purple flowers, strigose calyx with tube 2mm long & lobes 3mm or more long, purplish corolla 15mm long, banner strigose without. Strigose pubescent legume 50mm x 5mm.
