Woody glabrous twining subshrub or vine to 5m with lenticellate stems, imparipinnate coriaceous leaves with 4 pairs of leaflets to 25mm x 15mm. Axillary or terminal racemes to 20mm or more with bracteoles to 4mm, 60mm rose-pink & cream flowers, calyx 30mm x 8mm across with 5 lobes 13mm x 6mm, pink corolla 100mm x 40mm pilose outside glabrous within, flowers on both old & young wood, coriaceous capsule to 140mm x 40mm
