Climber or erect shrub to 6m, glabrate reddish branches. Leaves to 225mm x 100mm, glabrous above & pubescent beneath. Corymbs to 75mm diameter of 12mm long flowers, 5-parted toothed hirsute calyx to 5mm long, glabrous corolla pubescent in thrat with glabrous lobes to 6mm long.
