Erect to scandent sprawling hairy perennial. Scabrous leaves to 43mm x 15mm. Panicles with flower heads to 6.5mm, phyllaries in 4-5 series, 10-20 lavender corollas 8mm x 1.5mm, 12-25 yellow disc florets with corolla to 7mm & lobes to 0.8mm. Achenes to 2.5mm with pappus to 8mm.
