Scandent climbing or spreading shrub with pubescent branchlets. Crenate or dentate tomentose coriaceous leaves becoming scabrous above to 155mm x 120mm. Cymes of 25mm white flowers with 6 toothed tomentose bracts to 40mm x 25mm, 6-8 lobed calyx to 13mm long glabrous in tube & tomentose outside,tomentose lobes to 3mm long, white glabrous corolla with 12-16 lobes to 18mm long. Glabrous fruit to 10mm diameter enclosed in persistent accrescent calyx.
