Large liana to 60m long climbing with hooks. Puberulent branchlets, coriaceous leaves to 350mm x 170mm, glabrous aboce & puberulent beneath. Axillary puberulent cymes of 9mm sweet-scented white or whitish-yellow flowers, calyx lobes to 1mm long puberulent without, corolla tube to 9mm long pubescent without, pilose within. Warty fruit to 79mm diameter beige to brown
