Fruiting Times
Liana or tree with simple curved-hooklike tendrils opposite leaves but no spines, branchlets sparsely puberulent. Coriaceous leaves to 220mm x 105mm, glabrous above & puberulent beneath. Axillary or terminal panicles or cymes to 40mm long with bracts, of scented cream or yellow flowers to 6mm long, 5 yellow calyx lobes to 1.3mm x 1mm, cream corolla with white woolly fimbriae at throat, tube to 8mm long, 5 lobes to 3mm long. Tuberculate fruit speckled brown or orange lenticellate berry to 45mm diameter.
