Woody glabrous liane or shrub with lenticellate stems. Leaves to 80mm x 50mm, terminal cymes to 25 flowers with bracts to 8mm long, 15mm tubed pinkish-white turning yellow flowers with red near base outside, 55mm tails, calyx lobes o 12mm long, corolla tubes 12mm long with tailed lobes 50mm stained yellow & streaked red in throat, 5 sepals pubescent both surfaces, 5 petals to 70mm long. 245mm long x 25mm brown follicles divergent to 180ยบ.
