Deciduous scandent sometime twining shrub or small tree with leaves 100mm x 75mm pubescent above tomentose beneath, axillary & terminal inflorescence to 12 flowers, cluster with pubescent bracts 6mm long, sweetly scented pink flowers aging yellow, pubescent calyx 10mm long, sepals with recurved tips, pubescent corolla tube to 26mm, pink suffused white turning red via yellow outside, white turning yellow, red-spotted & streaked inside, lobes & tails 200mm long, pale brown woody warty villous pods directly opposite to 380mm long x 32mm diameter
