Evergreen large woody glabrous twiner with 3 foliolate glabrous coriaceous leaves, leaflets to 280mm x 160mm. 600mm long racemes of 120mm jade green flowers, calyx 10mm x 10mm, recurved blue-violet corolla, standard petals to 50mm x 25mm, claw to 15mm long, wings to 25mm x 10mm, keel 70mm long. Fleshy pod 75mm wide by 175mm long.
